Description:
Advocacy for children who are abused, neglected and dependent in the DuPage County court system. Community volunteers are appointed by the Juvenile Court Judge to be Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for the children.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Intake Process:
(1) Children removed from their homes are placed under the guardianship of DCFS and a shelter care hearing will determine where the child will live until the case closes.
(2) A volunteer advocate (CASA) is assigned to these children
