Description:

Provides audiology services, sign language interpreters, youth program, domestic violence and victim assistance counseling for deaf and hard of hearing people and services for late-deafened individuals.

Provides amplified phone demonstrations through ITAC's free amplified phone program. Audiological services include hearing testing and guidance in the selection and use of hearing aids. Income based hearing aid bank program available for individuals who are unable to afford hearing aids.

(2) Spouse/Intimate Partner Abuse Counseling is for survivors only

(2) To request an Amplified Telephone Demonstration, email: AskCHS@anixter.org
(a) Must be a legal resident of Illinois
(b) Must have a standard phone service at residence (cell phone service ineligible)
(c) Must complete an application which is signed by a doctor or other certifying professional that you have a hearing loss or speech disability
