Offers print materials, resources, audio-visual items, technology and digital content for all-ages. Professional librarians are on staff to assist patrons with questions, research and to provide readers advisory services.

Provides temporary shelter from extreme cold/hot weather conditions during listed hours of operation. Call first to confirm availability.

Primary Services:


(1) Community facility open to general public
(2) Residents of the District are eligible for Lisle Library cards

Intake Process:

(1) Visit during normal business hours with the required documentation
(2) Provide 2 forms of identification including a photo ID and current proof of residency (lease, utility bill or checkbook)
(3) Children under the age of 18 need to have a parent/guardian present when registering
(4) Call to confirm that Warming/Cooling Center service is open

Monday to Friday, 9:30 am - 9:00 pm
Saturday, 9:30 am - 5:00 pm
