Description:

Loans books, DVDs, audio books, video games, music and tech equipment. Computers, board games, puzzles, and other resources are available for use in the library.

Serves as a warming center during business hours for those who are experiencing extreme cold and need a temporary place to warm up.

Residents of Villa Park and Oakbrook Terrace

Intake Process:

(1) Visit during normal business hours with the required documentation at the Public Services Desk
(2) Provide 2 forms of identification (ID), each containing the applicant's name and proof of current address
(3) Residents of Oakbrook Terrace: in addition to the 2 forms of ID, need to fill out a form available at the Village of Oakbrook Terrace, pay the fee, and bring the receipt to Villa Park Public Library in order to apply for library card
(4) Hot/Cold Weather Shelter services open during business hours, call 630-834-1164 to confirm

Hours:

Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am - 9:00 pm
Friday to Saturday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Sunday after Labor Day until the Sunday before Memorial Day
