Description

Provides reimbursement for travel costs to registered participants who need to return to Naperville unexpectedly when Pace bus service is not available.

Hours

Registered participants can access services when Pace buses are not in service: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and 7:00 pm to 12:00 am

Eligibility

All commuters who are Naperville residents and use Pace bus services to access the Naperville or Route 59 Metra stations.

Intake Procedure

(1) All participants are required to register for the program (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/grh2017reg) and will be eligible to request reimbursement for up to 12 trips per year for a taxi or rideshare service (e.g. Lyft, Uber) ride between one of the Metra stations and their home or designated park-and-ride. (2) User is required to pay for the fare and obtain a detailed receipt from the taxi or rideshare company in order to request reimbursement by the city. a. All requests will be reviewed by the city staff and a fare reimbursement rate will be determined. (3) To receive reimbursement for a trip, submit a valid receipt and a completed reimbursement request form to commuter@naperville.il.us. (4) Reimbursement will be received as a mailed check.
