Governor Pritzker signed HB 0135 into law, allowing residents of Illinois to get birth control over-the-counter (OTC) effective from 1/1/2022.  Illinois becomes only the second state in the Midwest to make this legislation, which also includes mandates for State-regulated insurance policies to cover the cost of the OTC birth control.  Details on this new legislation can be found in the press release.
