Intake Procedure

(1) Call Domestic Violence Hotline 24/7 or walk-in during posted hours to speak to a trained counselor. (2) A preliminary interview will be carried out, based on which referrals may be given for other programs and services within DuPage County. (3) Counselors can also provide information all relevant programs offered, including the shelter program and its specific guidelines - for safety reasons, shelter locations kept confidential. (4) Walk-in for Welcome Groups and Domestic Violence Education Series during posted hours, call in advance if childcare is required on site
